Completion is not a qualification result and does not indicate that financing will be available.
Define the request before comparing products
- State the requested amount as a range supported by a budget, quote, invoice, or cash-flow gap.
- Write one specific primary use of funds and separate essential spending from optional spending.
- Identify when the funds would be used and whether the need is one-time, recurring, or seasonal.
- Estimate the monthly or weekly payment the business could absorb without delaying payroll, taxes, or essential vendors.
Know the business profile providers may review
- Legal business name, entity type, ownership, industry, and operating address.
- Time in business and relevant owner or management experience.
- Average monthly revenue, recent revenue trend, gross margin, and operating cash flow.
- Existing loans, credit cards, leases, liens, and other recurring obligations.
- Business and personal credit history when a personal guarantee or credit review may apply.
Resolve avoidable issues first
Reconcile bank accounts, correct bookkeeping classifications, identify unusually large deposits or withdrawals, and confirm that tax filings match the financial information being presented. Do not alter or omit facts to make an application appear stronger.
